I think the cliff texure path is ReplaceableTextures\cliff there are two different cliifs in each tileset, no matter what tileset you are using, the path is always: ReplaceableTextures\cliff\cliff0.blp or ReplaceableTextures\cliff\cliff1.blp Extract file, edit it, convert back, import and it should work. |

Have you tried it? Did it work when you tried? I have done many things but the cliffs always stay the same. |

I just tried what GAGA suggested and got it to work. What I did was find the cliff0 texture file using the "Warcraft 3 Viewer v2.2." First I made sure it opened the original war3.mpq, not expansion, and then using Ctrl-F I searched for the cliff0.blp. I extracted that file, converted it to tga, and editied it in photoshop. Then using one of the options in the programs menu I converted it back to a blp with the name cliff0 and imported it into the WE. Once in the TFTWE I set the path to ReplaceableTextures\cliff\cliff0.blp, saved the map, closed it, and reopened it to see that my change had taken effect. This is what it looked like for me, all i did was scribble on the tga but you get the idea. |
