How to you make or edit animation, such as making a hydralisk atk with his claws and not acid from his head?

if u have art tools read the manual. if dont have, in gmax use bones, read tut, get art tools readme, read it and use dexscript to export.

I have Art Tools, just dont how to use them, all i know is that u can veiw models from 3ds max.............:(

You cant since we dont have that type of importer. ArtTools is just an exporter.
We dont have an animation importer.

There are 3rd party tools that will imprt a warcraft 3 unit *with* animations.

u mean KMK's import export script or Nicoli_s mdl importer?
I dont know how good the mdl importer imports animation (its not working with version 4) but KMK's import export script is not the best choice for animation editing.

KMK's script doesnt support anims *dolt* so it isnt the best, atm Nicoli is working on the MDL importer for 4.X because more than 50% of modellers use 4.2 (smaller, older, and for other various reasons)

use Dex, although, whatch out because, if you do it wrong then, if you thought your model was going forwards, it will look like its going sideways................dont know why it does that...............
