Can I upload my closed beta?

Maybe the thread subject didn't say it all what I'm asking.
What I'm acctually asking is -> can I upload my campaign beta to the downloads section if it will be only accessable for a number of members - a rar with password for example.

So is that illegal and/or nasty or can I just do it?

I don't want to wait until I get hosted (and I don't know if that will ever happen emote_sweat ).

Hmm. How about just going to irc and let people request it off you there? It doesn't incriminate the site at all (some people may look down due to it being there). Meh.

Please don't, the download section is there for sharing your work with the entire comunity, if you want to send a closed beta of a project to your team members, contact them trough an instant messenger like MSN or on IRC.
