I was bored, so I sketched some satire. Done in pen, and gone over in Photopaint. |

It would be funnier if any of it were true. -"Believe in evolution and go to hell!" Well, you could recieve salvation and still believe in evolution, although that would conflict with God's account of how things came to be. Essentially you would be calling God a liar, and that doesn't sound like a good idea. I've never heard anyone say that. -"Ignore 'facts' and 'evidence'! They draw you away from God!" Here's the problem, there aren't really any infallable facts for evolution. There might be some 'evidence' (though calling it evidence is even misleading), although it is overwhelmingly in support for creation if your eyes are even partially open to truth and you are even slightly open minded. -"If science conflicts with the Bible, then science is wrong!" The if-then statement itself seems illogical, though I've never heard anyone use that as an argument. You say science like scientists cannot possible lie or mislead you. -"What has science ever done for us?" That one is ridiculous, whoever says that is being a moron. -"Darwin is the devil!" Saying that is moronic, although his work has turned many people from salvation through the guise of being "scientific" and truth. The devil is probably pleased with it and how many people have been lost to it, so comparing the two is not all that crazy. You pretty much invited me to coming in here and saying this... If you had made a comic attacking Jews or Muslims, you could expect some Jews or Muslims to take offense. The drawing itself is rude, as it seems to be a generalization of creationists. You make creationists out to be some scheming, conniving group of villians. I highly recommend visiting answersingenesis.com, though you probably won't. And please note that this is my critique of his drawing, so don't get on my back. |

oh man, i have nothing against your athiesm, i think it shows a lot of intelligence, but it seems to be the only thing on your mind... if this was meant to start a debate about christianity and athiesm it really should be in off-topic, unless you just want to make art. :bgrun: anyways, i like it. its funny, and scary too. :ggani: |

hehehe. Very funny. And very true. hahahah. Zenislev. I'm saying two things. 1. God doesnt Exist. and 2. If he ever did, he died. Thats just my opinion. |

Hey, I don't think it's a good idea to start arguing in here. You used to be able to do it in off topic, but then Technetium banned all religious threads:nono: . |

Man didn't just stop believing in him, why'd you say that? According to the census taken in 1994 nearly two billion people on this planet are christian. About 240 million people call themselves athiests and about 900 million are nonreligious. That leaves about 2.5 billion to vast array of other religions. With science it appears to be true, but if you look into the theory of evolution just a little you can see it's horrid flaws. I highly suggest reading Refuting Evolution, it's a great book. I'm planning on purchasing the sequel to it... Just because school teaches it, doesn't mean it is true (quite sadly). Calling me a brainwashed baffoon isn't necessary, I don't quite understand the animosity you hold. |
