Is there anyway to make terrain that gets higher but has no terrain underneath like a spiraling staircase. I am trying to make a spiraling thing like it was in a cave, two people are gonna fight up to the top.. so it needs to be walkable too and if it can be walkable underneath as well... but the underneath part isn't as important i could fake that by cameras or have no collision or something |

You could use doodads like the table to make stairs. Just use ctrl + page up/page down to raise it or lower it. Then you could go through the painstaking process of putting down invisible platforms using the same method. I'm not sure about it being walkable underneath though. |

But than it wouldn't look like a cave texture... |

You could try using some seriously tricky cameras. Make two areas using Beams method (maybe with another type of doodad). Then for one area add the invisible platforms going only a little ways up. So that when they fight on the ground and lower part of the staircase, they will be there. Then the other area will have invisible platforms going up the whole thing for when they're fighting up higher. |

its been so long sense i've seen editor so i'm guessing you can do this on a hunch, though could you just have a loop going that moves the units and!!! the invisible platoforms and isn't there a way to change the Z coordinates of the invisible platforms with triggs? |

I think theres a way to change the Z of the platforms with trigs. Only problem is it would be very painstaking and take like 50 tries before you could figure out what the height was supposed to be. |

Well thanks guys gonna try it later tonight..If it dosn't work i'll have to think of something else... Or just not have them climb a spiral |
