I finally have a beta version of my map. Unfortunatly, my internet connection does not allow for me to create games, so i hope that you guys will host some. It is a TD that I have been working off and on for about 6 months. It is great, IMO. I really hope you guys like it. I plan to change how you get extra gold after each level, and remeber this is beta. Please post balance changes that need to be made.

WARNING: DON'T BUILD TOO MANY WYVERN TOWERS OR YOU WILL BE LAGGED!!

I protected it using BlackDick's heavy locker, so if you find anything that is screwy just post it here. I have known other lockers to corrupt files, but this one should be good.

{edit}I have uploaded the newest version beta 1.3! It is quite smaller that 1.0 and has some changes made. Difficulty is greatly decreased, and air race is fixed. [glow=color=red, strength 3]UPDATED MAP IS POSTED AT BOTTOM.[/glow] I couldn't get it to change the attachement for some reason...

Pretty good. Very profesiona, but too hard for alot of people. I didnt have any problems, but some others did.

We got to level 3, but one whole side were n00bs. I may get some non idiotic buddies to play with me so i can actually play the map longer than the d/l.

Have a random choice for the weather effects:D

IMO wheater effects just lags down the game if you have a slow comp, and you want as many as possible to be able to play the mpa right?

Also, for one shot triggers that have already been exeecuted run the custom script:call DestroyTrigger( GetTriggeringTrigger() ) Or if you have UMSWE you can use Trigger - Destroy this trigger

This makes the map a lot less laggy, also if there's a tower that lags the game if you build too many you should remove it.

I suggest shortening the filename, to something very short. Once you've gotten 2 copies of every single map in existance that has a filename greater than <some stupid number, if you're a mac user you should know what it is> characters, you will appreciate my suggestion.

Ok well I played a few games over battlenet and these are some things me and my teamates noticed the most.

Ice seems to be a little weak after level one.

Air can't really build till about level three or four and it can make a team lose. Some sort of warning about this might be nice.

File size seemed to be rather large. I had people complaining about slow downloading and people just being plain rude about slow download times.

The game seems to be rather difficult after level one. I lost two games on level two. In fact the farthest we I had gotten was level six. We were even using the ankh cheat (you will see soon) too.

Your hero starts with an ankh that sells for 800 gold which could lead to you building your ultimate first round.

One game we played green chose a hero and it gave it to the orange player.

The hero revival things stay at top of screen cluttering it. Might wanna have those removed.

Thats basically what I found out in about three games. Hope this helped.

You realize that you can turn off weather effects locally, right? Just set the particle detail to low, and none of the weather effects will be created.

Ok I will host this game a few times and come back with some more feedback.

EDIT:
Well I only really got to play one time because nobody was joining. However I still do have some feedback. Just nothing difficulty wise this time around because I was forced to play with three open slots still.
I still got the ankh cheat in there. You might try just setting ankh selling price to zero gold or just taking the ankh out all together.
Summoning infinite builders doesn't really work well with me. Might want to set some sort of limit on them.
A kick command for the host would be nice. I was going to say this in the last one but forgot.
Also still the main thing is map size. I had a lot of people joining the game but had mostly all of them leave because of the slow download time. Usually when I am hosting people are telling me I have a nice connection cause their download just zips to 100% but not I had people calling me a 56ker. Anything you could do to shave down file size more would be great. :D

omfg... either it sucks that i accidently picked ice or that is really hard. we got to level 2 though...
We couldnt figure out how the hero think worked and..
how fast is dsl and cable in kilobite wise thingy... lol we talked about that during dl :ggani:

YAY!! PEOPLE DLED FAST! I dont know wtf you had in it that was 1.5 megs... but its still really hard. I got past level 1 with 2 fire chuckers.. and HERE COMES LEVEL 2!! i killed about 3 guys... with 5 chuckers. maybe i just suck :bgrun: but im sure if easier it would be great fun. but still need a hero explanation
edit: specificly, level 1 the guys have 20 health... level 2 they have 154

OK just got through playing a couple full games and now I am back with some feedback.
Ice builder still is a little underpowered.
Still rather hard map. Farthest we got was to air level. I would also like to add when I played to get to that air level I had some rather experienced tower defense players on my team.
Might want to give pink some extra gold at end of every round or some sort of mini spawn after the end of level where every enemy he kills gives him some gold but if they get past they don't take away any lives.
Might just wanna make gold a little more abundant in the map.
Also I loved the download speed not one complaint. :infth:

Oh and by the way this map is rather fun and I enjoy playing it. :infth:

This was not feedback from the 1.2.1 (I am going to go play that now)

ANOTHER EDIT:
Well I tried hosting it and it was saying game was not found. Anybody else getting this problem?
