I was working on a spell for the spell making thread when I decided to test it, all of a sudden windows (XP) decides to restart... WinXP then said in a ScanDisk like manner that the first cluster of my map appears to be "invalid" or something. Windows zal de schijf nu controleren. Het volumenummer is 2331-1D08 \Program Files\Warcraft III\Maps\Download\Shards of Consiousness (Example Map).w3x. Het eerste cluster is ongeldig. De vermelding wordt afgebroken. Verloren ketens omzetten in bestanden (J/N)? Ja 64 kB in 1 herstelde bestanden. Het bestandssysteem is hersteld. 40136576 kB totale schijfruimte. 1429824 kB in 1930 verborgen bestanden. 63040 kB in 1955 mappen. 18285632 kB in 31420 bestanden. 20358048 kB beschikbaar. 32768 bytes per cluster 1254268 clusters in totaal op schijf 636189 clusters beschikbaar op schijf Thats Dutch, maybe you wont understand much of it bu basically it says it recovered the file (64 kB in 1 herstelde bestanden.)(64kb was the size of the map so im sure it is the map). BUT... it seems that WinXP has removed the map!!!! I cant take that ****, ive been working on that thing for like an hour and i do not intend on doing that again so please will someone help me on finding the map. (I already did a search with advanced options on such as search in hidden maps and stuff) |

Um, so sorry to leave you hanging. This is why you should turn on Autosave, and have it do so no fewer than 20 minutes or so. Unless the magic map restoring gnomes pay a visit this evening to you, you'll be restarting, like it or not. |
