Guest | So I made this indoor map and now I want to have a roof on it somehow.. I already checked for suitable doodads to mess with but there's nothing really of use (yeah I could put floating table doodads all over the map but that's.. a bit too much work :)). the camera is right behind the main character and it looks so.. open. Any tips to make it look more indoor? |

Guest | Maby... Make the walls taller? Or do as you said make flying table doodads |

Guest | This is a dumb comment, but you COULD make the flying table doodad like scaled up 9000 times so you only need one... I really am not sure on this problem... |

Guest | if you placed a big doodad, i dont think you would be able to walk under it |

if the whole level is indoors -- there's no reason to have a roof :P On the other hand, you could give a unit with a large scaling value the roof doodad model that you spoke of, make it a flying unit, and then setup triggers to make it translucent when the player walks under it. |

Guest | Then make a flying unit with the table model with no collision through a trigger! |

Guest | thanx for the inventive suggestions all. The roof doesn't have to be transculent cos the camera view is behind the main character, so you're looking into a corridor. Right now the roof is just.. open black. Can't I do something with set sky? Can I somehow make a flat wooden sky? :D |
