I want to make an item/ability that lets a player "grow" their own trees lol. I tried taking a tower and replacing the model with a tree model but it comes out all white, with no texture. I'm still working on a way to do this but thought id ask because asking and getting a reply on how to do it the right way sure beats fiddling around the editor till i find a hacked way to do it :P Also... is there a way to make it where you can "set fire" to trees? I want to make a unit called an arsenist that can set fire to a forest lol and burn it down tree by tree. Suggestions are VERY welcome :) -Huh |

To use variable doodad models as a unit model insert a "1" or "_1" at the end of the model name (just before the .mdl). This is how i've used the glowing runes doodad as a unit in one of my sillier maps :) |
