We are working on a new map (Lands of Archanor)

Lands of Archanor is a project that we are working on, it is going to be a new type of Warcraft roleplay game, more challenging and exiting, and not just like a lot other rpgs were you just goes out and kill foes, we want so you also can do things that don't involve fighting. I am happy to hear that you thinks it looks good, but there may go a while before we will release it, and the beta testers are allready chosen.. but we will work as hard as we can on it, and i will inform as soon it is done...

wow! coool. Do you have an estimate for a release date yet or not? Them screens look ok. But some look wierd. Can u give us more info like players and what to do?

What type of game is it?

It is a new type of roleplay game for Warcraft, whit possibility to play a character, save him, load him and keep on playing on same hero.
If i shall say a game that it looks most like would it be World of Warcraft... but another edition..


How many players can play at same time?

We made so 10 players can play at same time, the next 2 is for the SCA.


What is SCA?

We made what we call SCA (Special Computer AI) which makes the computers do stuff, like going to war, walking around patrolling, trading, playing, killing etc.
The SCA makes really the game alive, so you feal like there is over 100 playing at same time, specially when there is wars... but this is still testing so it is hard to say how it will become..


Which races will there be and what classes?

We have made camps for the following races, Human, Elves, Dwarfs, Orcs, and some kind of evil foaks (a bit like undead)
The classes is as folows:

Human: wizard, warrior, hunter
Dwarf: alchemist, warrior, hunter
Orc: alchemist, warrior, hunter
Elves: druid, hunter, ranger



How big is the map?

We made it bigger than u can in a normal editor, using a program, but still it ain't so big, but that might come...


Is the map "laggy"?

No.. not yet and we don't think it will be..


When will it be released?

We don't know yet, but there will go some months, but in this year!!, we are working as hard as we can at it


Which quest are there?

We have only made some quests but we have wrote the way for them. They will be different like, some is about helping defending towns, other bringing massages to other peaple, the quest will be really different. W
And individual so only the one ho got it knows about it...


How many quests will there be?

We really don't know yet, but over 200..


What happens when u die?

Hmm... when you come down at 10 hp, u will fall and be unable to move... then u will die if u get a final blow.. but in the time you are "down" your friends can help you.. We don't know yet what happens if you get killed, but maby some sort of reviving..


Can you go inside buildings etc.

In some way... we made caves and castles so u are able to go into them... and walk around in them, which is a really cool feature.. some wantet us to make so u can buy your own house.. but it will be stupid since u cant save it (savecode would be to long) ... and becurse it wouldent be fun.. map would look like a Real life or somthing..


How will the save be?

Like a lot other games, were u can save, it will save your charcher level, color, name, backpack and what else will be nessary... the load code will be a bit long.. but it is somthing we dont take so much care of since u just can write it down and it is more fun if it saves it all..


How do u prevent save code stealing?

We have found a way so only the saving account can load that number.. but we are not shure yet how it will work but it is the idee for it, and we think it will work..

i hope this map is gonna be cool cause i like cusotm games a lot. can u tell me what's different in this map from others and if there are some total never seen aspects. like new units etc. and why i should play ur map instead of some other custom game

Loooks soo cool... Especially the great fields and the mountains, I think this map gonna be played a lot when it is done.. hope there don't go more then 2 months, i cant wait more then that at a so good looking map :mtk: :mtk:

Hey Alowan. The map looks great! I used Sword's map making tips in some of my maps. "Get a bunch of flower, trees. Make a hill and a high bastard mountain in the distance" or somewhere along the lines. Anyway this will probably be the map that brings me back to Warcrafting again. Bye!

I can now inform about that we are getting fast forward.. just today did we make over 10 quests, and a lot more.... and then i would post some screen here.. becourse to meany is to silly to go to our page..

Is the map 1 or more maps?

The map is only 1 but it is sized up whit a pogram we made... so it is Really big and contains a lot of places..
