i read some where on this site that it was possible to change terrain in game with triggers. I think that this would be the coolest thing, so i would like to do this in one of my maps. Could some one tell how to do this i.e. the triggers involved, or tell me that im crazy for even thinking about this. Thanks |

Changing the terrain with triggers is easy "Terrain Deformation" But you should know that changing the terrain via triggers does NOT change its pathing... so if you make a cliff via triggers, a unit could still walk up it.. or if you make deep water not deep anymore, units still can't walk through it. |

I've NEVER heard of doing that, but it doesn't mean its impossible. I just don't think it would even be worth it if you could. I think you read about land deformations, which changes the height/steepness of land. |

Environment - Create a 0.50 second Temporary crater deformation at (Center of (Playable map area)) with radius 512.00 and depth 64.00 Its under environment actions. Hehe, i thought you meant in your first post, that you could change terrain textures ;) Yah deformations are easy |

thanks that will be cool but you said temporary, does this mean that it will go away with time and can this be done with cliffs, blah blah blah. thanks you soo much im a bit of a noob as you can see, only know a little here and there |
