How Do I Install Models/skins!!!!

I know i must sound like a total noob/dumbass, and also i'm probably sure a billion people have asked this before, and I'm also not sure i even posted this in the right section, but please please please bear with me here. Anyway, that being said, the title speaks for itself. I know most models/skins have instructions with them, but i just dont get it. I've tried all sorts of stuff but i always get scared im gonna mess something up and I just cant get stuff to work. So ya, please just help me learn how to get these things to work.

I've been in your situation before actually :P.. So i'll help ya..
First of all.. get wc3 viewer (that's what i use, some other's may use wc3 image extractor or something..)
Open it, press Ctrl+F and search for the skin you want to use.. Then click the extract and convert BLP file, and choose tga. Then use PSP or Photoshop.. I use photoshop.. Then edit whatever you wan't on the skin. When finished, save it. Open wc3 viewer again. Click the convert BMP/TGA/JPG to BLP, and find the TGA and convert to blp..
Now for the importing..
Open the map you wan't the skin in. And open the import manager, import the skin, and set it's paths to your skin's path.. (you can see the skins path in wc3 viewer). Now reopen your we. and it should work..

Ya ive figured out how to open skins now. Thanks a ton guys i really appreciate it. Now i just gotta figure out how to use models... and how to make it so u can use skins/models and not replace another unit (is there a way?)
