You cant really go and ask, how do i do my map? My advice would be that you first look at some other CTF maps and their triggers and layout and check what's good and what you want in your map, then create the terrain for the map so you get some inspiration(thats what i do).

Now, if you don't know any triggers at all i suggest you read some of the trigger tutorials that are on this site, just do a search. In case you have triggerspecific questions you can always ask here and you will most cetrainly get an answer.

I made the original Hero Team Fortress CTF...

its really not that hard. The basics of Capture the Flag are extremely easy to trigger. I'll try to give you a few pointers on what to do...

You're going to need Unit variables for the flag carriers, and Item variables for each flag item, so that your triggers can identify and keep track of where the flags are and who is carrying them.

You'll probably want to set your flag items to Droppable on Death, unless you don't want that.

Create regions for the places that the carriers bring their flags to. So, when a carrier enters that region, they score.

Of course, you're going to need integer variables for the team's scores as well. Read a leaderboard tutorial, and make one that displays the team's scores and the names of the flag carriers.

Map-making may sound intimidating at first, but it's really not that hard. It just takes a good sense of logic and math to do advanced triggering, and can take a little while to completely learn how each event, condition, and action works. And, of course, creativity is a must =D

I almost completely taught myself in map-making, but I've found that every time I've hit a rut, there have been tons of other brilliant people on these forums that are more than willing to lend you their wisdom. Just try to make your questions a little more specific, or at least let us know what exactly it is you do and don't know.
