Custom spells, upgrades, buffs, etc.

Can someone explain to me everything in making custom spells, upgrades, buffs, etc.?

it's almost indenticl to creating new unit Ctrl+Shift N to create new ones , if you have frozen throne, if you don't , your up a river without a paddle if your a n00b
