Orc Siege Tower model request (HoS)

Hi ppl.

As Heart of Storms mod (www.samods.com/~rommel) is getting close to beta testing stages, more and more units require new models. One of these is Orc Siege Tower aka OST (also formerly known as Siege Engine). I made a model for it some time ago, but it is too laggy and slows the game down very much (being composed of 7 models attached to each other) and won't be going into the final version of HoS (I may upload it sometime for public use). So, I need a new model for OST. Since XA (who does the model work for HoS) is already loaded with work, I decided to ask ppl on the forum for it.

No modelling from scratch or animation work required, just take Siege engine (TFT steam tank) as base, remove its turret, eagle's head and missile launcher, and add parts from other models via geoset merging, according to the pic below.

I will pay 150 points for it, or either repay with any model from HoS, or do some skin work on request.

NOTE: the attached pic is just a cnp compilation made in PSP, not an actual model.

Hmm... it appears nobody is interested in doing this request. Okay (since OST is going for the demo and I'll need this model really soon), I'll double the reward. C'mon people, 300 points for a geoset merge is well worth it...

I had some time this evening and took a shot at it. I built it to the pictures specifications, but unfortunitly I don't know how to animate and hence, the model is not animated. Since its for a campaign I won't post the mdx here, but if you want it let me know. Here is what it turned out to look like, using the skins from the components shown in the concept picture.

The model looks extremely good, thanx! It will do for now even without animations (they won't be too hard to make anyway). If this is ok, send the model to [email protected] and specify what do you want as a reward.

Oh and if Rommel doesn't mind, could you take the tower part off of the model (without the smokestack) and make it a tower model for public download? :ggani:
