To Art Forumers and Gallery Owners AGAIN!! (Rules thread)

To aid the control of spam and spam alike and to answer those who comments on my 'inactivity'...

If you think a thread or a certain post should be purged or sniped, do POST IT HERE so I can have a look at it. I'll see to it that it's clean. That includes galleries too.

My guidelines for thread purges.

Normal Thread: Anything off topic will be sniped. Flames will be sniped. Your convention 'STFU' banners, pics...etc. will definately be sniped.

Gallery Threads: Only gallery owners can request their own thread purge. Any foreign pictures will be sniped unless specified. Any pic-less comments before the last pic will be sniped. Anything flames will be sniped.

Xmet will occasionally patrol threads and snipe stuff at will.

If you double post, be responsible and kill it. So saves me the effort.

Picture posters STICK TO YOUR OWN GALLERIES. Posting your pics in other people's galleries is a) VERY disrespectful, b) an invasion to the gallery owners, and c) downright RUDE. Unless further specified or with granted permission any foreign pics that seems to sit there for the sole purpose of sucking off from the gallery owner's gallery WILL BE SNIPED!!

Request posts that have been granted will be cleaned from this thread.

i agree with icbm, the avatar and self portrait threads should be stickied... and sniped

Could you clean my gallery of posts that don't have critiques or comments in them? Leave the ones with suggestions and kill the off topic ones please. Thanks.

I can only delete stuff that doesn't have attachments to them. Pick and delete is not not choice anymore....because I can't see what has good comments it them and what doesn't on the delete panel.

Wait a minute... what is this delete panel you speak of? Is it like a brief list of posts within a thread?

And that sucks that you can't pick and choose. It makes it harder to clean threads... much harder.

i am not loony, i just think that those ppl (not pointing fingers) shouldnt deserve posts for non-related posts on a topic that was suppose to die a few days ago...

X, all of my pictures are linked using img tag. You could open a new window and delete from there.

It would e highly apprecated it the lord would help out too.

I honestly hope he will... but I kinda doubt it... the most I have seen him do is move a thread... purging one will take too much time. I would help if I was able... and where's Orin?

Just out of nowhere in his post? I mean, okay; It's not that much bad, but why did Leppy have to tell us what he thinks about Shadow_Strike in a thread about rules, let alone in a post about his own gallery, and Shadow_Strike wheren't even mentioned. If he was a problem, he could've said so; As a matter of fact, Leppy could've kept his relatioship to Shadow Strike outside of this topic, in PM's...Or just said what's 'is problem with 'im, no name-calling and stuff. So to prevent shit-throwing, such meaningless mentions and provoking and teasing should be sniped on sight. If Leppy doesn't want anything to do with mr. Strike, then best not mention him just out of spite, which just calls for more bad blood. Anyone agree/disagree?

although you have a point, it was a reply to a post before this one which was deleted, talking about a certain situation that was being called up to the mods.

and i could keep it to pm's, but i'm a lazy spammer that types whatever comes to mind while im posting. i dont see what the point of your post was, however, because it would have been a much better pm to the mods. so send a pm and get the post sniped if it means that much to you, otherwise stop being a little rat snitch! :P

I doesn't mean enough for me to send a pm and get the post sniped, since I depend on the authorities to atleast be enough observant to look out for such in a official thread, since it was, after all, a lil' bit unnessecarry bickerin', although perhaps a bit unserious? So yeah, certain situation and all. But even if you ARE a lazy spammer, you should, whould, could, and must keep it to pm's. Or chats. Not in a sticky thread about rules, or whatever.
