Help on 3dsmax changing mdx models

I have the mdx importer\export and i edited the Sylvanas model to do a Male Ranger, I have edited and in 3dsmax seems good, then I copy the geoset data( all the 1st geoset data, except groups and the animations of that material) and in the game, the part I changed dont animate, then i seem that the vertex group are all 0, so, I copy all the data except that part, animates!, but it seems a little weird, because the hand was on the foot, the bow looks weird, the face is deformed. Can you help me?

you shouldn't copy everything. Copy only the "Vertices" thing. Don't copy normals or TVertices or anything like that.

Don't work!, I have only copied the vertices part, and animates!, but it seems very deformed.
