Move Unit... NOT instantly?

Hi!

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a way to move a unit from point A to point B -- but make the unit sort of 'slide' there? Of course I could just order it to 'move', but units have a movement speed limit, and I also have to use a different animation, as in, not the walking animation.

I think I saw something similar in The Big Chill... if anyone knows what I'm talking about, I'd appreciate some help. :)

Thanks in advance!

issue order targeting point = Move to (watever riegon you want) then wait for= unit to enter (riegon above)

That's not what he asked for, he asked for a way to "slide" a unit to another position, not ordering it to go there.

for every integer A between 1 and 100, do actions

move unit (instantly) to center of (position of Knight) + 1

I think this would work, the knight being the sliding unit and have him go (center of region with offset). About the animation? Hah, i dunno. Good luck with that.
