Whenever I try to say something in the WC3Campaigns IRC channel, I always get a "Cannot send to channel (Channel is Moderated)" message. What does this mean? |

It means only voiced people can talk. If you need to talk, just Pm me and I'll see what I can do. |

What does "voiced people" mean? |

People who are voiced, and therefore able to talk when the channel is moderated. |

Useful answer Jolly. :nono: People in the channel have different levels. Generally they are based on their jobs here. You'll see little symbols next to their names: ! = admin - all powerful @ = op - pretty powerful % = halfop - can do a few things + = voice - can talk when channel is moderated The 'power' is in changing peoples access levels, kicking, banning, etc from the channel. Usually the channel is NOT moderated unless someone is being an idiot. If you join and find that it IS moderated, just PM someone with !, @, or % to fix you. And if you didn't know, to PM in IRC just double-click the person nick. ;) |

Oh, ok. The #wc3campaigns channel was (still is?) moderated, and I couldn't say anything. |
