WIP tree village

Well, I've decided to try my hand at making a village in the trees, and here's what I've got so far. I haven't started going up yet, but I've got the base of the tree down. I think I'll do ladders instead of stairs, because it'd be really tedious to make spiraling stairs. Also the table legs would kinda take away from the look of the stairs. Anyway, here it is:

yet again something i would never have though of...... fences for laders......cool :D :D i think ill use that :ggani: heh heh

Very Cool i like it

btw you can get rid of the legs of the tables by first making a custom
structure then you place it then double click on it, then edit its Z value to like 10.

and vuala no legs!!!!

only problem is it doesnt look too much like stairs anymore...
:(

EDIT: you might want to play around with the values i think you could rotate it to make a ramp like object.....i duno tho

Well I can't say this is the way Beam is going to do it but - If I was making the terrain I'd make the structural doodads before adding in the environment doodads. That gives you more room to make stuff.

Its looking very nice :D

Actually, I'm doing everything at once, the walkways, stairs, environmental doodads, etc. It's time consuming but the end result is great.

well i have to say that i agree with beam sure it wouldnt be a bad idea to build the structures first but ive had better results by putting in everything at the same time...i duno mybe its just meemote_confused

lookig good beam :D :D

it would be cool if you made them to work like stairs :ggani: its easy to do it (though not too time consuming)
