reinstall warcraft 3, delete anything tat was from the main directory as well the directory itself.

There was a mayor warning not to run it from the main directory in the readme.txt

wtf the readme.txt only reads:

Just put the "comdlg.ocx and richtx.ocx" files in your "c:\Windows\System\" Directory and there you have it!

and i copied and pasted that too.. it said nothing about that.. stupid program

Run it from any other directory (Like your Mpq2k directory) and it should be fine The Compilation in the download section IS NOT THE REPACK that I hosted but someones elses my REPACK had a readme with atleast 3 times saying Not in your war3 directory.

K heres how you do it - PUT IT ANYWHERE EXCEPT IN WC# DIRECTORY

specificly, make sure war3map.wtg doesnt end up in the wc3 directory. Thats the protection, and if it goes there map editoer reads it instead of the OK ones in the maps.

Why don't people distribute the right bloody readme.txt?
Location of MPQ2K: where you have mpq2k installed (came with the protector)
Location of map: where the map you want protected is
Destination Location: where you want to output the protected version of your map.

Destination Location: where you want to output the protected version of your map.

Where would that be? Do you have a suggestion as to where i should put it? Do I just chose ANY random file and my map will be protected?
