I made this map just out of interest - but i quite like it and with Oinkerwinkles excellent models I think it could be pretty cool. I think I know the best way to do this huge scenario - I'll elaborate later if necessary I don't really have the time/ability to pull it off so if anyone wants to help or use what I've done so far that's cool. I got the siege engine working nicely, triggered up the inner gates properly and sorted out relevant pathing blockers. Here's a view of the city - showing each of the gates excpet the final one that will win/lose game |

These large towers work like orc burrows - they're fire if you man them with footies or whatever |

Here's the bit of the rammas echor that the rohan sneak through to get onto the field - when the rohan appear you'll be able to build riders behind the wall - The edge of the ruins of osgilliath is at the top of the map - this is the orc stronghold - where they build their siege towers and mumakils - they will also be able to build building elsewhere on the map - so that they can advance their lines and keep up the pressure on the enemy... ie. Once you've got into the city you can build a barracks inside the perimeter and build troops there - expanding the ground you hold - when the rohan appear however you'll have to fight on two fronts Any suggestions for this LOTR map? |

a tip to all minas tirith/helms deep map makers, plzz do a new rider of rohan, those are knights, not those fair, fast thingies as the rohrim uses for mounts |

huh, this thread's back - yeah I'm not making the map in completion but I'm making new doodads to put in the terrain... horse and rider... cool, cool but the good thing about my map was that I'd got perfect siege towers (I made a model too) and defensive (garrison) towers... If you need help hooking these just holla.... Quote:
I was thinking about what models to make - it's possible - but there's a good chance that the horse you come up with will look like nothing in war3 and seem odd - but I might try |

Im jealous! Ahhh! I want your precious terraining skills! Give them to me now! Moo-hahahah my precious! Errrmm... Enough of that, now, I was wondering if you would take me as your partner for the minas tirith map. If you send me the map, I can do all the triggers and object editing... thats what I do best! I have 2 tutorials if you look in that sections... =D |

its not really that close to the real minas tirith... however, he put a lot of time on it...and that makes a good terrainer |
