I had some posts about this in freebie posts, but a whole buncha stuff was deleted the other day (i heard we got hacked?). Anyway, i would really appreciate it if someone could make up a wall skin or even a new model for each race that isn't lame like the doodads we have. Well, the stone wall one is passible for human, but its nothing special. Ideally, the skin would go on the stone wall doodad or something similar so it can have a death animation, unless of course you are that graciuos to make a completely new doodad or building. However, ANYTHING would be appreciated. For Undead, it'd be nice to have a wall of bone or a wall of flesh, something creepy and intimidating. If any of you have seen the necromancer's bone wall spell in diablo 2, that would be perfect. (i can post a pic if you really like). Even part of the ziggurat skin modified and wrapped around a wall-like doodad would do very nicely. For NE, currently the best thing i have is that thorny vine thing. This is cool and all, but its a little too dark to really fit the elf profile, in my opinion. Plus its not a destructible doodad, and thus has no kind of death animation (its funny stuff like this just disappears on death). So i suppose a touch up on this doodad would be ample. Think of some kind of wall of bramble, or wall of thorns type thing. For human, i'm thinking of an impressive tall stone parapet-type wall, like something outlying the edges of an impressive castle or whatnot. Perhaps if you could take a piece of the castle skin or barracks skin and modify it to wrap around a doodad with proportions similar to a large wall? Finally orc. There are a lot of things that could make a good orc wall. Currently what i have is a burrow shrunk down to a quarter of its size and it looks kind of neat like that. If it were skinned to look less like a burrow and more like a wall, that would be awesome, but a totally different idea would be neat too. Basically i'm asking for any kind of creative wall you can come up with, because i think warcraft is really lacking in them, and they can be used in many game types. I will donate 1/4 of whatever current points i have for each one, all my points for the whole job. |
