How do you attach glowing stuff to an object via .mdl editing? I know it is possible, I am just not quite sure how. I am not a noob at .mdl editing. |

i've already read his tutorial... and nothing about glows, just particle emitters. I know how to edit particle emitters. I was asking about glows, which aren't particle emitters. |

Hey here's another question, but sort of the opposite of yours. How do you REMOVE unit glow? I have a unit on map im working on thats based on a Grunt. I changed the model to blademaster, changed alot of stats etc. I even made a trigger to give him a normal decay to corpse animation. But how on earth can i get rid of the glow? I tried setting his glow in the object editor to neutral but when I load up the map it still displays it as the players color. -Thanks PS- ya im not a n00b I realize theres a button in WC3 that turns off all hero glow for all units on the map, etc but I'd rather do this the right way. Whether by triggers, editing in object editor, or whatever. |
