Warbands Contest Skin: Khornate Warlord

The weapon isnt done yet. I cant fix the head anymore its a bitch I cant get it to look well unless someone models it. Tell me whatever you see wrong etc etc. It is somewhat loosely based on the concept. Legs are almost made up. Also i didnt finished his back yet.

I like everything but the face :D
The skin looks kinda... unskinlike though. I guess its because of its roughness and all the stuff painted on it.

What do you mean cuz of the roughness and painted stuff dont understand what your saying.

here is the face as you see its not really flexible. A lot of guess and check to see where everything goes.

The little areas I circled. Those lines kinda look a bit too... defined IMO. Maybe smooth them in a bit more with the rest of the chest.

lol its looks like a shading tutorial now. I'll fix up the edits and post it in the contest thread.

Its good, but if it isn't already then you should make it a high res skin as well as adding a lot more detail to the skin.

overall it needs to be darker.
just wait till whitehorn is happy with it, then it'll be great, he knows what he's talking about.
Did you do that WH paint job? I'm curious to see what some of you guys here have done for painting/converting GW stuffs, or if you've ever entered any Golden Demon competitions. (I'll be entering my flying Hive Tyrant on Games Day Canada 2004)
