Guest | This is a pretty simple question, but I can't find the solution. How do you lock player properties (so they can't change their colour, race, team, and whether they're a computer or not.)? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance. |

Guest | I had this problem at first, too even if you set the flag for that, they can still change it (and the computer slot start out as open slots in multiplayer) unless you add an action to your initialization section of your script Action: Game - Lock Alliance settings to On Also, if you have that, and you don't have the flag selected in the forced screen it will do it. |

I hate to say this but... wrong. It will lock teams in the game, but it won't prevent changing colors, race, or anything else. You have to go to Scenario > Force Properties, then check Use Custom Forces and Fixed Player Settings. |

Guest | You may wish to re-read what I typed. I did state what you did, but doing only one of the things will not make it work. I've had the problem both ways. Both things have to be done for it to be unchangable. |

Guest | Lock Alliance settings has nothing to do with race and color selection. How can an action that doesn't run until at LEAST map initialization effect the pre-game selections? It can't. |
