Ok... I have made a skinn, a new bloodmage (Vampire like)
When i import it to the editor and change the path, it replaces the old bloodmage skinn, including Kael. (Kinda cool skinn, after my opinion)
So.. that I want to do is that I have extracted the MDX unit Kael, (the new skinn of course), the Buttons and all the other stuff that belongs to that unit. I want to make a seperate unit from the bloodmages. So that the Bloodmage and Kael have their normal skinn and my new unit with the imported bloodmage MDX file and the other stuff have the vampire skinn.

I don't know how to do that. Anyone who can make the path for me? (the path needed in the Import editor)

This is the bloodmage with the skinn

You can't have more than 1 skin on one model.

You have to import an edited duplicate of the model, with the paths for textures changed.

I have exported the mdx file, allso with all of the other textures ++ that belongs to the figure. Then when I import all of them I can't get it to work. Not even when I put in a custom path.
Any one who have made a copy of a model and a custom skinn to it and used it in their map?

I will try the methode Mock1 said thet I should do to complete it

Theese progs.. can't I use War3Viewer 2 ?
It does all of that thees prog does.

heres the updated method.
Ok you have 2 skins you want and you have one model. The skins are mock1.blp(the original skin and model) and mock2.blp(the new skin and model)

open warcraft 3 viewer
extract a mdx "mock1.mdx"

open wc3 file converter
convert "mock1.mdx" to "mock1.mdl"

open up "mock1.mdl" with notepad.
Scroll down a little until you see some paths like "textures\mock1.blp"
Change it to any path you like say "textures\mock2.blp"
Save and exit

Rename "mock1.mdl" to "mock2.mdl"

open wc3 file converter
convert "mock2.mdl" to "mock2.mdx"

Go to your map and import mock2.mdx to "units\mock2.mdx"
and import the skin to "textures\mock2.blp"
Then import a new skin to the original mock1.mdx
"textures\mock1.blp

So you have
units\mock2.mdx
textures\mock2.blp
textures\mock1.blp

Save and exit. Open your map go to a peasant click on model-art in the unit editor. And go to custom look for mock2.mdl

place the peasant down and the mock1 unit and your done.
Repeat for portrait.
