In Photoshop - Create a new layer, call it colour. Change the layer mode to 'overlay', now use the paintbrush tool on normal and colour in the parts on the colour layer.

In PSP - Use the recolour tool to colour it in (don't know if there is a better way, didn't use that for long).

i use adobe, but i found i could just change the color properties what i'm doing exactly is

Image -> Adjustments -> Color Balance
then i put these numbers in this order
67 11 -100

and i get the coloring i want. Does that look right to u guys. My question about making a new layer is how will that show anything from my old shading?
