remove hero glow?

I tried setting the path in game intterface to none... anyone else know how to do this?

You have to model edit. Or at the very least, skin edit.

i tried replacing the hero glow with a blank blp a while back but it stopped working in like 1.10

Hero glow doesn't have to do with a .blp, it is a glow. You have to edit it out in .mdl editing. I think there are tutorials on how to add it, so just read those and you should know how to remove it.
