I have a real cool rpg and im not 3/4 of the way through it i looks aweseme then i looked at other maps and say that they had nice natural ponds and rivers, unlike the cliffy unatural rivers. any1 know how to make them without starting over again?

Well you could first start out with a large square area of water, then put ramps all around it, then raise the land to get it the shape you want.

I start all my maps with deep water then raise it up a bit, then I just lower the terrain to get water. Cliffs are a pain to get ramps on sometimes if their not squares.

Well you could try this:

Make ramps all down the sides of your big rivers, I know it'll take a long time but it could be worth it in the end. Then just raise the terrain directly between the ramp-river and hopefully it will look ok... Otherwise yes the only way would be to start over.
