ok well sure, I'll make you a walkthrough, but it would be much easier if you were to name me a skin or two so I could give you more specified directions Just give me the link to the skins and Ill show you how to put them in |

Ok, now when you download the file, you notice that the name is sylvanuswindrunner.blp-- the file is already a .blp and is in the right form for importing, youll see in just a second Now If you go and import it right now, your not going to see any changes if you were to place a sylvanus unit. This is because the skin does not have a model to go to. In order to give the skin a model, we will have to change the path to make it the exact same as the regular sylvanus model The warcraft 3 viewer is a great tool for finding filepaths All you have to do is open the program, hold control and tap f in order to bring up the find menu So go ahead and put sylvanus in there and youll see a couple things come up. Your looking for this one... |

Ok, so keep that window open and open up the world editor. Open your map and go to the import manager (the green arrow). Ok so now go ahead and click the import button (another green arrow), and choose the sylvanuswindrunner.blp it will import it as war3mapimported\sylvanuswindrunner (this is not what we want) ok, so go ahead and double click it and click the use cutom path box. Now delete the war3mapimported and type in the path EXACTLY as you see in the war 3 viewer. So now the path look exactly like this |

And now that you have that in there, close the editor and place a sylvanus (the skin goes for anything that you set as a sylvanus model, but for time's sake well just use the actual unit). You won't see the skin on the model, or at least you shouldnt, if you do, then many other modders wish that they had your set up But most likely you will not see the new skin. You must save, close out of worldeditor and reopen you map in order to see it. I like to close out the whole program just to make sure I clear everything, but it might work if you just close the map and reopen. So now that you reopen you should see the skin on the unit And this is what it looks like if you have any more problems, dont hesitate to ask |
