Yea, i started playing with them, fun bunch of guys if ya ask me though can be fickle. Do you guys think that there is an actual need for more skies in a cinematic? like i know people would just LUV to see an animated sky and i have a feeling he did that with particle emitters but thats not my question, do people want more night skies, or would they prefer brighter day variants, if u guys could post examples of what your talking about that would help me in some decisions. |

i'm not sure if you people understand what goes into an animated sky, by the looks of it they were using particle emitters, thats what i would do at least but i don't know enough to make it work, either particles or they had units that they moved around and they somehow kept the units at a constant height stars eh? if u find any good pics could u PM me with links i was looking earlier and its quite hard, though now i'm pretty sure i have a samurai japanese misty mountain type sky. |

Yeah, some more pretty skies would be useful. I for myself could need a night sky with many many many stars and a wonderful moon. So if anyone could do sth like that i would be really grateful. |

Weel there is the sky I have in COTN 4 s2 extended, with the moon and stars. You're free to use it as long as you mention I did it. |

Well um... I'm not sure how you exported 'em, could you tell me how to import em please? |

It would be great if someone made a dark cloudy night sky (for dark and rainy nights! :D) |

hhhmmmm i feel like i should tell what Daemon Did *i never knew u could do that good idea Daemon* though i'm a little undecisive as to weather i should make u guys search. I want you guys to know, don't look for the file, look for how he incorporate it, and i'm right about particle emitters, thats how blizzard did it i opened up the MDL and say like 7 second emitters *thats just TOO long* Though as i've said i'm willing to make night sky's if you guys point me to a picture, i'll make it a little more war3ish *i have my ways u know* then i'll create a sky, i'm almost wondering if i should make a template.... |

heh sry demon, i'm just thinking thats quite an ingeneous trick though i'm wondering if we should make them open the map and find it thereselfs. Or just tell them? its quite a useful thing to know, Oh and would u mind if my Group/Terrain Clan used that in our project/cinematic? i know personal use is one thing but do you mind groups using the idea? Anyone who is intrested is invited to join the forums its not just Terrain Clanners we got a bunch of people. Quite a few AMAZING terrainers if you don't want to look that hard. |

An idea : what if you could skin the Doodads - Underground Dome into a sky? I know you couldn't put alot of detail into it, but you COULD spin it around. A starry night, with the dome slowly spinning... im a genious. |
