I'll just post some SS's from terrain I made in like less than half an hour .

Just tell me if they suck or are they good , rate if possible.8))

1, 2 are rather empty, but the 4 one looks good. good job :D

You know what that needs? A SKY! You can find it somewhere in the view dropdown menu, if you dont like just change it in file->preferences.

The first and second looks waaaay too flat. Even though it is in... or near water it still looks too flat and empty. Place more doodads and play around a bit with the Height tool ;)

The third one looks okay but still looks a bit empty IMO. Especially the background. Perhaps place a small island on that huge part of water (small island) and turn the sky on ;)

The fourth one looks okay, but has 1 diffrence with the previous. I now see less water but still no sky. However the tiles remain the same. I only see a bit of grass and rough dirt (not sure if it is called that) and on the background regular dirt. Even though it looks kind of fitting how you used it, you should change the tiles once in a while and don't put too much diffrence between them ;)

Sorry, I'm just really anoying and strict when it comes on to Terrain Ratings ;)
The first 2 just don't loook good and the third and fourth are already somewhat better but still needs improvement.

I will use them in my next batch of ScreenShots.
Wich will be in the next couple of hours because I have some steudying to do .
After wich I will make another map and do some SSing .

And I allso have to learn how to turn the sky on. :////

Well as for the sky, you can just turn it on by pressing 'k' in the World Editor or use a Trigger to make air inside the game. (not all that hard, search by the 'Enviorment' Triggers, there you will probably find the trigger 'Sky turn on' or something like that... hey I'm a terrainer and not someone who does triggers :P)
