Well..I'm making a really big AOS map, as the title will tell you. The storyline, however, may get alot of flames from christians/catholics posting in this forum..anyway, here it is: As the Bible tells us, there are two extremes in the universe, God and the Devil(a.k.a Satan a.k.a "The Dragon" in Revelations.). However, the Bible failed to mention the existence of another extreme. It's name was Twelve, god of twilight, ruler of the realm of purgetory. When the Earth was created, Twelve became jealous of God's supremacy and attempted to destroy his creation. Fortunately(or unfortunately), God noticed this and tried to stop him. Years of hoarding the strength of forgotten souls had made Twelve too powerful for God to handle alone. Enlisting the aid of the Dragon(Satan), aside the armies of heaven, God proceeded to battle the fiend and his seemingly unstoppable armies. After many rounds of battle in the darkness of the void, the two(God and Satan) found themselves and what remained of their followers trapped in a corner of the dimension, with Twelve's forces constantly pounding against them. After several skirmishes with the diminishing alliance, and after consuming the many souls of the fallen, Twelve decided to vanquish its hated enemies once and for all. Summoning all the power it posessed, Twelve sent forth a wave of energy across the void, shattering the remnants of the coalition forces, and blasting both opposing entities into the darkest depths of the abyss. During that release, however, an insignificant little angel, James, saw a weakness in his foe's arsenal. It was a tiny slit in the fiend's chest, unoticed by all around, which led to the unimaginable source of its power. He drew his sword and thrust it deep into the wound just as the force of the blast caught him in mid-jump. At once, a symphony of wails and screams erupted from Twelve's chest, as the souls of both living and dead escaped from the now gaping ravine, draining the fiend of its energy. Seeing the opportunity, the severely weakened God and Satan managed to seal the now-powerless Twelve in a dimensional chamber, before collapsing it from inside, eliminating the abomination forever. The aftermath of the war was horrific. Souls of the fallen roamed through the void, screaming for a deliverence that they were denied, demons and angels alike lay dead on the field of battle. However, neither God nor the Dragon had seen the champion who had vanquished the beast, Twelve. When they saw James wandering amongst the dead, they deemed him a coward who had hidden away from battle, and before James could reply, he was banished to the mortal realm, forever to live as a human. Once there, he fell in love with a beautiful woman, and together, they started a wonderful family. However, throughout the generations, the story of the "lone vanquisher" in his family died, along with the possibility of tracing his heir. Meanwhile, to prevent another disaster like the "First War" from happening, God created a second "Earth", called Xin in a dimension parallel to ours. Many "sightings", such as the City of Gold, El Dorado, and the "Loch Ness Monster" were fleeting images from Xin created by dimensional ripples between the two similar worlds. The situation now. --------------------- The year 2004. Scientists in a little town in Florida were experimenting with the disection of an atom. However, on the 5th of June, as they were prying open an atom for the first time in human history, it's innards burst through, and formed a Black Hole so colossal, it effectively sucked the entire Earth into it within 59 hours. Suprisingly enough, the Black Hole turned out to be a tunnel, transporting the Earth to another dimension. During this transition, many unimaginable creatures awoke from the time ripples surrounding the Hole. Legends came to life, and began roaming the earth. After 2 months of darkness, the Earth was spewed out into the Rog galaxy which it's counterpart, Xin inhabited. Apparently, Twelve had somehow returned from non-existence, and was now taking revenge on the humans on Xin by using their own technology against them, using it to bolster his newly-created hoards. Once again, God has sent his armies to put a halt to the tyrant's new threat. Unfortunately, the cunning Satan had sided himself with Twelve and the Twilight, not knowing that Twelve would destroy him when his duty was complete. Now, trapped in a corner of Xin, the remnants of the armies of Xin, Earth and Heaven, under the command of terran soldier Aurealious prepare for their final battle, their Last Stand in the book of revelations. Terrain screenshots will come soon :bgrun: |

Wow...Very interesting storyline... One comment though. 'James' doesn't sound very Angelic :ggani:. |

Well, I was trying something new in the storyline, as "Gabriel" or other angel names would seem pretty cliched if I did put them in :bgrun: |
