... WTF did you post two threads on the same thing? It shouldn't be hard, I have no idea though... isn't it insterted into the .mdl of the file? Or am I completely and totally wrong? |

Im as clueless *** you Freak. Im not a modeler either. Somebody told me that it has something to do with some kind of sound emmiter in the model. meant to say as above, not @$$:ggani: Thx skeith:ggani: Heres what tufy said to do: Convert the model to mdl and open it. At the very end of the file, just prior to collision objects, there are various spawned objects. One of them should say SNDx0000 (where 0000 stands for that particular death code). What you need is look at Art Tools Readme, where you have all those codes listed. Then only need to replace it with your appropriate code. Voila, new death sound. EDIT: If you're creating a new model, you create the death sound by putting in a point object with that particular name (SNDx0000) and then setting a note track with a key at the position you want the sound to happen. Can somebody do this for me? |

Ha I was right! It is .mdl editing! :gsmile: Anywho, I'd help you if I knew how to do .mdl edits... I plan on experimenting with it soon, but someone will probably/hopefully edit it for you before then. That and I have no way of determining the death sound, since I don't have the Art Tools. |

I love Yyou Oinkerwinkle!!!!!!!!! You are the best!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Sorry to be a pain, but can you just give this model the blood elf peasants portrait? You know the one im talking about? The hidden model, not the high elf peasent. And could you just copy the model and change its path to Textures/Archerpriest.blp? Just 1 problem Oinkerwinkle. You changed the deathset, but its the wrong one. It sounds like some kind of dragon. I think you may have typed the wrong numbers. Can you fix this? |
