Ok, guys this is to prevent you from reporting already reported bugs 3 times. I'll also inform you here as soon as I've uploaded a new update and which bugs it fixes. I'll start over with a first list of reported bugs which are just about to be fixed: -The import manager likes to delete the custom path of imported files or resets the path to the standard path -Consequently some imported models won't load and other funny behaviour -When opening a pre-1.13 map in the Enhancer the Authorname, mapname and description will be cut off (first 9 letters or so missing) -When editing the tile list of a opened map (especially when deleting added tiles) the text might get screwed |

I know, its just a visual bug, but no matter: Loading a Map at Edit Map: ![]() After eding some new Tilesets and deleting one, the Delete Buttons goes wrong: ![]() Greetz B~L~ |

Your terrain.slk doesn't seem to allow buildings on unbuildable terrain. I've checked it myself, and the correct fields are set, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. A bug I've found in the Enhancer. Only visual, but it could sonfuse people who don't know what it really means. The tooltip for the Include Heo Selection option in both the Edit Map and Create New Map dialogs displays 'Adds edited tree models to the map which can be used as unit or item models' Screenshot: |

Ok, I have now compiled a new WEU Enhancer.exe which will fix the 4 bugs mentioned at the top, the command button that was too small for BlackLotus and also the wrong tooltip. See PM for the link Just download the new exe and replace the old enhancer by that one. AllPainful: With these fixes I tried to update your map, you sent me and everything worked for me now (including import manager, imported models, mapname, authorname, description, and also advanced triggers, and protection) Also note that the map size will be reduced again after you saved the map the first time in the WE (so the map will only temporarily bigger). What I'm currently working on: -> if you leave the edit map dialog without saving your map should still be untouched. By now it will apply changes as soon as you for example check a checkbox. I will now try to do all the changes when you hit save... -> I also did some minor improvements to the light source units but these changes are not included in the update I uploaded as i don't consider it that important |

@ 35263526 WEU doesn't automatically come with the setting to allow buildings on unpathable ground. You will have to activate it in the WEU Enhancer under settings before... I have checked it and it works perfectly for me Should I set this feature to be automatically enabled from the beginning? I thought it's always better to only offer such things just as an addition as others might be annoyed by that feature (similar to huge doodads and stuff) What do you think? |

Sorry, my mistake. I think that you ought to keep it as it is, but maybe you should change the tooltip for the option in the Create Map and Edit Map dialogs to say that you have to turn it on/off it Editor Settings. More bug reports: The tooltip for the Use Advanced Triggers checkbox in the Edit Map dialog displays 'Enables Dummyitems and the Town Portal system'. The tooltip for the Enable the hero selection system triggers checkbox in the Edit Map dialog displays 'Adds edited tree models to the map that can be used as unit or item models'. |

WEU -> Editor Settings -> Tooltip of "Disable Terrain Limits" is wrong, because the tooltip is: "Deactivate if you like the seperation of campaign and melee units in the unit editor." Tooltip of "Open UMS" is wrong, because the tooltip is: "Opens WE Unlimited" Greetz B~L~ |

Whenever I try to open a specific map with the Edit Map function of the enhancer, I get the message 'WEU found outdated WE Unlimited files in the map The map will now be updated to the new standard.', which is strange because I removed all the WEU files when they became incompatible with Warcraft III. I then get the error message 'Error occured when combining new Doodad Data.'. I've PMed you a download link to the map. |

Ok, I have created a new update that does the following changes: -Fixed import/export of the terrain layer -Added "Import successful" messages for importing layers and object editor data -Added a choice to editor settings to dis/enable autbackups before opening a map -Fixed a problem where models with a special name got deleted -Fixed all the wrong tool tips you found -Added a message that tells the user to enable unlimited terrain in the editor settings tab if he wants to use the all tiles buildable option -File dialogs will remember the directory -Fixed AllPainful's problem with the map being aborted on init if protection is on -The load map dialog will check if a map is opened before opneing it (instead of crashing) -Fixed a bug with the save map button -Fixed Numberboy's problem with updating the old map Download the new WEU Enhancer.exe and WEUnlimited.ini files and replace the old files to install the bugfixes. Also I'd like to know what you think is better (in the load map dialog): 1. Always save a loaded map with the same name it had before (file extension) or 2. Change extension if fex you add custom ability data to a w3m, then it will be saved as w3x I'd say first one is better as it's clearer for the user that the map he loaded will be saved under the same name. After opening it in the WE the format will be changed automatically anyway. Also it would be really much effort the detect which extension is needed and it would increase the time saving a map takes. Or does anybody mind? |

I think you are right that method 1 is the way to go. |

Just that you know which bugs already have been found: -> Local player is missing -> The map flags observers on death, random heros and random races are listed twice |
