can u attach the thing u use to import models? ive been trying to get my hands on the dex importer/exporter but i cant seem to find it... |

I don't know how many times this have been said, and making a poll about it is the most foolish thing I have seen yet. YOU CANNOT IMPORT A MODEL WITH .MDX OR .MDL WITH ANIMATIONS! Well technicly you can, but not without messing the animations all up. What you have to do if you want to keep the animations is: 1) Import it with importexport.mse - Uncheck bone rotation and activate - the option "Static" 2) Edit your model (Don't add or delete any verticies). Once you are done rotate the model so it turns toward the X axis. 3) Export your model as an .mdl 4) Open the .mdl you just exported 5) Copy all the "Verticie" data into the original .mdl of the model you are editting (making the new verticie data replace the old) 6. Save the .mdl and convert it to .mdx |
