Like I said before. Too big for a goblin. |

Like you said before? Listen my friend (and I mean that in the sarcastic, almost threatening sense of the word) you have not posted on this thread before, but if you are refurring to my previous model, then please be a little clearer. It is much easier to ban you then writing out all of this sort of stuff and next time, I might do just that |

From the way it looks I guess it is a modfication of one of the Troll models. (Forest Trapper?) Looks fine, perhaps you should make the hairbush a little bit smaller that it looks more like a part of roman tribun helmet! :D |

Looks awesome, not a goblin though since if ur trying for the LOTR type ones it needs to be a different color, i'd say its more of a hobgoblin |

ok! you losers, listen up. 1) how the phuck can you say its too big with nothing to compare it to! you moron! Go DIE! even if it was too big, thing can be rescaled in about 2 seconds. 2) Oh yes, this is definately a lotr mod, thats why we have "warcraft III" behind dwarves and goblins, and realm design DO indeed specialise in LOTR, and I guess we DID make this goblin accidently green and looking like a warcraft goblin when he was supposed to be a LOTR one... and that, was my impression of skullpitter. just coz it was only an impression does not mean i didnt mean what i said. |

Huh? Since it title of the project is "Warcraft: Dwarves and Goblins", I'd suspect that they're trying for the Warcraft goblin look. Which has been achieved to a large degree of satisfaction :) I think the armor is kind of too neat for goblins.. I envision it with more straps and bolts and... spikes? Examine the Temple of Boom (Goblin Laboratory) model for an idea of Goblin defense aestethics :) |

This is set in a slightly odd place, the goblins are far more technically advanced, but I think some regiggling of ideas might be in order and if I don't see a distinct improvement in the quality of posts in this forum, I will simply stop posting here. I'll show screenshots to people who's oppinions I value and I can trust to give reasonably useful help, but nothing will be added here you've been warned have a nice day :ggani: |

thats what i said. goblins never bother making armour that shiny.://// but apart from that- perfect. |

I like you already, MMad. Posting a comment that actually helps more than it wastes space on the boards, unlike most of the unwashed masses. You go in my good book *writes down your name* |

Here, I have fixed the hight problem so many of you seem to have a hang up about, but this ISNT easy, cos it often results in screwed up animations. Many seperate things will have to be done in WE to get this model to work, feel damn lucky you've got a nice guy like me working on this ::EDIT:: I've done the same for the igniter model, now they have goblin proportions |
| 01-28-2004, 07:07 PM | #13 |
besides, when you think about it, both the gobins and the dwarves will be short, so it wont matter if you think they are to big, then both will be |

You never stop to astound me with your models Challis! I really like the effort you put in to this one and I feel you should know that it is appreciated. Anyway I look foward to the mod! :) |
