Is there a non-locked version of Tank Commanders?

I want to use one of the Goblin tanks in my map and the version I downloaded is locked. Can anyone point me to where I might find an unlocked version?

Why not ask the author (th15) where you might be able to download the TANK model.

Or check the Models forum, as there is ALREADY a goblin tank model up for download there (put up by Cookie I believe).

Why ask for an unprotected copy of a map, when all you want is a model out of the map? Your NOT likely to get an unprotected version, it was protected for a reason.

As for "Where do you ask", well the "Map in Developement" forum is for threads about "maps in developemnet" (gee, go figure..) For you question (a model question) you would try the modeling forum. Or you could ask in the Map Development forum.

Well that was a mixture of help and being an ***. The one on this site isn't from TC, it's from Dungeon Siege. I guess I will have to be more specific with my wording next time, and I did email the devs but I have not recieved a response in two days. Time is Warcraft you know.

Sorry I was thinking of a different tank..... Well, anyway, as lond as your here. Could you give me step by step instructions on how to get that model into my map? Specifically, where is the Units folder and what imported file goes where in the unit editor on the custom unit. Thankyou if you can, otherwise I'm lost.

1) import
2) get rid of the /wccustom(orsomething like that, its the first location) in the location pathname
3) go to your unit, and select the imported model as the unit modle
4) Restart WE, then it should show up there and not just in-game

The two icons that come with the GB dl from this site work fine but it won't load the model! I took off the wccustomdl line from all 3 of the files and it made the icons work but not the model. I restarted the editor and it still won't show. Help me...

There is a readme file included; read it to know how to install (and CHECK the download comments, this WILL save you alot of troubles regarding import errors :foot: ...many didnt and were stuck with those import errors while it is said how to fix, just a little heads up)

We do not condone unlocked map versions; the author has protected the map for a reason. But the models should be in the download section (search under the letter: G)
