Very good job Ian! I'll write a longer review when I have the time, here what I liked and disliked:

GOOD:
- Good use of modelles and reskinned stuff.
- At times very nice landscape (sheep, archon crossing river)
- The letter was great

NOT SO GOOD:
- The stars looked a bit messed
- Sometimes the terrain was too empty
- riverrushes (blame it on me, I just don't like them on open terrain hehe)
- Though the camera was alot better than part I, there were 1 or 2 bad shots.

Overall: I liked it very much and the bad things don't count that much, most people might not even recognize them. I think it was quite a hard job to put so little events (basically he just recieves the letter) into a 15 min cinematic, but that was well done.

Thumbs up!

Well not everyone likes cinematics with no fighting.

But I hope you all liked the music, sounds, skins/models, and terrain at least :ggani:

I agree that the rushes stand out a bit too much. Maybe I'll stop using them except for daytime scenes in the future.

The stars - damn sky models. Maybe I should have high-res'd the skin to make it look better.
:ggani:

Terrain - I thought the plainess was kinda cool. It was almost impossible to avoid without having to do massive camera work (if I put anymore details, the camera Far Z's would clip a bunch of stuff and look kinda wierd, eliminating the vast feeling of the map)

Thanks for the crits :ggani:

The terrain and skins and music and all that were superb, but this second part was really lacking. The only significant events were Archon's introduction and the letter reading. The rest of it seemed a lot like filler, and an excuse to see Archon prance around the town aimlessly.

I really loved the cool skins! They were awsome!

I don't mind dialog, but you can only watch a guy running with fixed/linear camera movement for so long..

Still good, but not amazing.

My god... you people are very critical. Too critical, if you ask me.

This is great! Keep up the good work, Ian!

Glad to see John likes it alot :ggani:

I find it hard that you guys can get bored watching it. :bgrun:
Even if hes just walking theres cool terrain to look at, alot of the time stuff happening in the background, and music :ggani:
Besides this is only 15 minutes of what I hope will be a finished 2 hour 12 part cinematic.

Damn I can't wait until I get the next few parts finished - then I can get onto the constant fighting with only a few breaks stuff :ggani:

I thought it was decent. Very well done, Iron_Ian. There are flaws (And improvements), though, that I would like to mention.

Pros
-You didn't use the fade filter as much. In Part 1, all you did was fade in, fade out, the whole entire movie constantly. I am glad that you didn't use it as much this time.

-The Skins were incredibly well done. Great job.

-The sword scene was very good. You managed to pull that one off well.

Cons
-Terrain was disappointing for some reason. The city was ok, but the nature wasn't as eye popping as I thought, and it wasn't spectacular. It seemed a little blotchy, and unnatural. Sorry, but I expected just a little bit more than that.

-TOO MUCH WALKING!!! All of the cinematic was walking from one place to another. I was very bored after a while, it reminded me too much of morrowind.

-The cinematic wasn't very movie like. When you make a cinematic, you have to make the people seeing it nearly think that they are watching a cool movie, not just some warcraft 3 map.

-The letter part was cool and unique, but for some reason, I got another morrowind flashback. I loved the originality, though.

-The various sounds were not in sync with the backround music. The backround voices were loud and muffled, while the music was very clear. The footsteps were very loud too.

Please note that I am not trying to be mean and unfair, I just am trying to be as honest as I can. You would have to be a hard rater after waiting for months. It was decent, yes. But not as good as part 1.

I also feel that thiis was overhyped for what it turned out to be. Nonetheless, I am hoping that part three will be better than Part 1 and 2.

Good luck, Iron_Ian, i'm looking forward to part 3!:D

Its 14 minutes so you get a chance to show off all your pretty terrain :D
(maybe a little long but I didn't mind)
The music was terrific, and so were all the sound effects.

While some skins were obviously higher quality than others, they were for the most part very good. The models were also excellent although I thought that the skin on the horses could have been a bit better.

The terrain was wonderful, I loved it.
The dialog was fluid and natural; very well written

In short, the movie was fantastic(its becoming difficult to come up with more synonyms for good)
I can't wait to see Part 3 and 4

I thought it was excellent! I liked all the terrain and how you could see viallgers doing stuff in the background. I love your use of multiple skins for one model. I thought the letter part was cool and it seemed to be perfectly timed because right when it would show somethign like that jousting thing I would of been right at that part in reading. There wasn't much that I didn't like about it, I was just hoping I would see Darius (I think thats his name) again in this one.

was great but way too many walking scences. Why didnt he just use a horse? Terrain was good some scences were also great.

Well everyone, I'll let you on to a little hint. Darius is dead.

In part 1 final it will be a bit longer, and Darius gets killed.

But that doesn't mean his role will end :ggani:
In fantasy worlds, dead ppl still have a use :ggani:

He didn't use a horse because:

I'd have to transfer the skin to the Death Knight model, high res it, and try to make a horse of the quality of Wolverines skin.
Later on, it won't make since that hes the only one on a horse (It would take to long to model all the other main characters on horses)

Another thing you guys fail to realize is that -

This is part of a whole. Don't consider it a part alone. Consider it a small piece of the movie.

Like I said, this was meant to be finished then released, not released in parts.

I only released part 2 alone because ppl were bitching at me to get it out, I hadn't released anything for a while, etc, etc...

Another reason why its not the uber l33t cinematic you all expected after 4 months is because of -
1 - School which my grades are seriously slipping off this year.
2 - I work for Reverie Entertainment
3 - Lack of inspiration/lazyness

I guess I'd best off make all my cinematics from now on have fighting eh?
