Arthas Skin Revisted(Huge Attachment)

When I first showed the beta for this skin, the main complaint was that the hair was too flat. But after finals passed and I started skinning for Ominous Horizons, I found that I didn't have anytime to look back at this skin.

But I decided to work on it again today. Using the process for creating hair that I had developed skinning for OH, I was able to vastly improve the quality of the hair I had previously used for this skin.

I also touched up the rest of the face a little.

This by far my best work, (I've only finished 3 skins) and I'm really proud of how this guy turned out.

Feel free to offer more constructive criticism.

EDIT: By the way, the hair is 100% freehand, no filters

So detailed... is it 512x512 res, or 1024x1024?

This version is an 1024 by 1024 but it would be easy for me to rescale it down to 512.
My understanding is that you want to use the armour I created yet still retain the face Wolverine skinned for you, correct?

looks great. From the eyes up is awesome. You should add more hair stubs to the side of his face. Add more shadow below his eyes and maybe give him so cheek bone defenition. The lips look too cartoony compared to the rest of the skin. The armor is superb. :D

Hmm cheek bone, never really tried that, that should interesting trying to apply to the skin. But it is a good suggestion because he is suppose to look rugged.

For the lips, do you think it was a poor color choice because I did try to add detail to them?

That's damned good armor. It looks exceptional, especially if it's freehanded. I'd like to use that myself. You have real talent.

Well, if there is enough interest in it, then perhaps I give it to Mock for his site. (the skins I make are suppose to be for a cinematic I had in the works but I will most likely not finish it)

I may be giving this skin to Iron_Ian and I expect that he will want this to be a TTOA exclusive.

EDIT: Also, I have a few changes that I'm going to make to the gauntlets and the face.

DOUBLE EDIT: The changes will have to wait, I wont be able to access my computer this weekend. But next week it should be done.
