Hmm, looks nice, but what make sit so different that you'd want to use this instead of the normal? |

its simply dodge/burn practice :D its also an attempt at a new method im using, basing my shading off of highlights, and keeping my work on "overlay" over a second copy over blizzard's, with a color texture, that way the burns show well. and it looks better than both, here ill post an example in a sec. |

damn, cant edit attachments in! When i make "my" layer, instead of super-doing it, I focus on the lighting and darkening, and make it INTENSE, because blizzard's layer has the outlining well. this only works on flesh, sadly, since you should ALWAYS do your own armorings! |

But you could do that with less than 5 clicks using D&B normally... |

holy **** it makes great armor effects! if anyone reads this who can geoset merge, can u try to put arthas's head on the shadowhunter? Im havin a good idea! [also, part of his chest wraps on to his arms... EVIL!] semi small update, i just played with some layer settings and colors, but it looks a lot better! Oh yeah i figured out how to alpha the unalpha-able places like rexxars axes and sb shield doing this too >:D! [edited pix scroll down] |

I dont understand all you really did was resize and dodge and burn it more. You didnt redraw the muscles did you |

i toyed with some of the arm muscles, but lost a lot of it to a bad save ://// ill do em again later, but they dont really show much. I posted i freehanded the chest because I posted BEFORE i noticed my draw was on overlay :gsmile: any idea for pants? |

latest vers. Im waitin on a geoset merge from iceknight, so no head for now :D When I get the head on it, i'll base my flesh color off of it, since I am FAR off! The uber-long area from his chest to legs is virtually inseeable ingame, as he crouches at all times, and the black-ish area in his leg-joints are a wrapping issue pretty much all skins that have that leg-set with heavy color diff expirience. -edit- oops forgot to add, chainmail is by whitehorn, i shaded it tho :ggani: How does that chain pattern go anyways? Im thinking of making my own, but i tried to draw a by-hand ref in school and failed, miserably! -edit2- Mock1, i did this as an expiriment, i'll prolly redo the muscles, but they look fine as it is, in my eyes. I might have to when adjusting the colors, but i forgot to save a PSD and lost ALL of my layers! >.< This method does work for both-your skins; it makes the darkening VERY good :D |
