Just two at the moment. First, I want to create a land-mine like item that creates an exploding barrel of explosives. I got it to work, but I want to make it so that it can be attacked by the player who created it, as it does not explode on contact but rather on death - really, a manually detonated mine. So, is there any way to make it so a right-click will order an attack on the mine (like a destructible or enemy). The other thing I wanted to know was if there was any way to make a unit die when it contacts the front of a siege engine, without using triggers. If anyone can answer these questions I'd be really happy... |

I really sux at all wich is about the worldeditor but i have suggestions. For the landmine, i think u shouldnt bother about the hero who attack the lanmine, i think it is possible to add the landmine the ability to die (so explode). For the tank, it may be a passive ability : all ennemy units who are at a X distance of it lose hitpoints. All the mattter is that you must learn Jass or trigerring. Personaly im just to lazzy for that and anyway i have others problem 4 instance ( make friends, but friends who know triggering :ggani: ) good luck |

Yeah, I actually know how to make a new landmine unit. What I wanted was the ability to drop it, then allow the hero to attack it like a doodad - a remote controlled landmine, so to speak. Anyway, I think I have an idea on how to work it - though it doesn't get attacked. Just create a new ability that will cause the unit to commit suicide, that way the player can detonate the mine manually. |

For the siege engine, just make a passive ability like Devotion aura, but one that saps health, or even, saps enough that kills. Just make the radus very small. This way, you can also make a buff to attach to it that plays an animation if they are affected (Like blood splatter). And just as cool, you can make the ability researchable at a building. Some uber coolness to help you out. |
