Is it possible to 'Downgrade' an upgradeable ability? IE. Iron Forged Swords LVL 3 -> Iron Forged Swords LVL 2. I have tried using the using the 'Set Current Level of Research' trigger, but that didnt work (There's even a note at the bottom saying it wont work :P). Anyone have a solution? |

Nope. It's one of the annoying WE limitations that can't easily be worked around. You could use non-upgrade methods, though (ex: Tomes of Damage to boost damage, then Tomes of Damage with negative values to lower it), or a convoluted system of upgrades and "negative" upgrades (negative values that get more negative at higher levels), although you might need nearly an infinite amount of these, and it would probably get really messy fast. Depends on what you need them for, really. Maybe there's a workaround for exactly what you want to accomplish. |
