Ive been working on this map in my spare time. Its essentially a 1rst person shooter (not related to the FPS mod) that relieas mainly on vehicles. If you've ever played t3h's Tank Wars or Battleship Command, you will undertand the general mechanics of the gameplay. I will now follow an average path though some of the game. The game finishes loading. You drive in your light tank foward to help defend the front of your base agains assault from the enemy AI controled troops. You tap "Esc" to enter range finding mode. You rotate to face a cluster of ememy troops- then use up and down to agust the range- and press f to fire the main cannon. A explosion detonates where you fired, severly ingueing those in the blast range. You tap Esc again to enter normal mode, and commence foward movement- you spot a unocupied bomber. You hop out of your tank- with the "l" key, run up to the fighter and press the "e" key. You enter the bomber and it raise off the ground. You spot a enemy tank and gun it- flying past it, droping your bomb on the back left of it. You were lucky. You hit teh fuel tank, and a torrent of flame arrupts around the tank, killing all units near. WIth your pockets full from the bounty your recieved, you head back to base and pull into the refit center. You purchace a manigun- and equip it. You now return to the battle, but a group of infantry gets too close. Your minigun warms up, shredding them as you command your main cannon- the minigun auot aquires targets. A barrage of missiles makes its way towards you. The minigun lets ahail of bullets at the incoming projectiles, blowing all but 1 out of the air. That one strikes your side and smoke billows out. I used that to describe the basics of a game, which features:
