Adding Damage to a unit

I'm trying to build a custom unit but I can't figure out how to add damage to the unit. Theres many options that says Damage factor, Damage Number of Dice, etc... But none of them seem to change the Damage, only when I change cooldown does it do more... of course.
Could someone please help me emote_confused

The damage a unit does (near as I can figure) works this way:

Each attack the unit does automatically does "Damage Base" damage. Then on top of that it rolls "number of dice" imaginary dice, each with "number of sides" sides, and the total of all these dice is added to the damage.

Cooldown... well that's just how long it takes before the unit is ready to attack again. So if you lower it, it will attack more times, meaning it will do more damage. A-hurr-hur.

Anyway good luck!

So if I wanted to add damage, I would just raise the Damage Number of Die?emote_sweat

yes and no. the best way is to raise the damage base, the more die you have the larger spread of damage you can get like thiss:
1 die and you get 1-1
2 dice and its like 1-2

and then there are the sides per a die, this also effects the amount of damage.

now, what i would do is only change the base, test the game to see how it came out and then change it again if it wasnt right
