question for a spell

I have a custom spell for a hero named goblin commander in my custom map. It's his ultimate and it's called mega kaboom, where it is like stampede but with sapper instead of thunder lizards and all that. The thing is, I want them to do the exploding animation rather than the dying animation... how would I do this?

this is something I'd REALLY like to fix, so... I'd really appreciate any help!

Im pretty sure the death-animation is hardcoded into stampede, sorry.

Here is what u do

for the spell go to target attachments, find kamboom's model file and put them there attch to where ever and it should work

It seems that the death animation of the unit is used for the projectiles... how can I change that? Even if I can't, I somehow need to attach an explosion to the place where the sappers hit! Since kaboom is an animation rather than an ability thing I use the altar of kings death animation (which is an explosion dealie)
If anyone can fix up this spell I'll put them in the credits of this map, which so far almost all of 200+ playtesters loved :-D, despite it being only in ver 0.11.1

Art - Special. It plays when the stampede units run into someone(I think), it defaults to a blood splash. Changing it to an explosion should work.

uh well we goblin sapper die they die like other guys they do explode so i dont see how u cant dont but if i find i ill tell u

can't you open up the model file and change the animation names of the sapper so that deaeth animation is kaboom animation.. maybe this is hard to do though, you could probably get someoneto do it for you.. but then you'd have to import your own model file...... :..

there's got to be an easier way... maybe something with buffs, but I suck at buffs.... I do everything else in object editor perfect, I just screw up buffs and effects lol

you're telling me it's impossible to use triggers or anything to create an explosion at the point of a unit getting hit by the stampede? I don't have to replace the goblin's dying, the blood and stuff are fine. I jus want some sort of explosion at the point they hit. I'm sure there must be some way to do that!
