Elvish Champion

Hey everyone, I was kinda upset when my Necromancer Hero (renamed to Chaos Necrominion after reskinning it ^_^) was met with minimal praise -- particularlly because I was so proud of it, so I stopped skinning for a while... But I guess I'm back. Here's my most recent work, and I think it could be one of my best yet!

I tried to make him look like Fiery Pheonix from Tao Feng: FotL, but I kinda failed, but he still looks pretty cool, I think!

+ Am I the only one who thinks the face is completely awesome?8))
+ I like the recurring metallic theme from his gauntlets/thigh plate/neck thingy.
- Blood Mage wrapping on chest/back makes it look worse than it should be. =(
- Perhaps a bit too golden near his feet.

Anyway, rate if you feel like it, and drop me some criticism if you think it could be improved. I hope you guys like this one! :ggani:

Very nice! you should get a mdl edit to remove those shoulder pads

I would really like to do that, but the only problem is that the arms aren't fully constructed and you can tell that, even if you just alpha out the cape... :bgrun:

You know someone made a bloodmage with full arms when u alpha the cape out, ill go find it

Cool. I really like that head, but the body is kind of crappy. And you really should remove those shoulder pads.

The head is cool, but the chest doesn't look real, his feet are too golden and his armor seems patchworked... it looks like he just put on whatever random things he could find (Little metal here, some leather there, nothing elsewhere.. etc.)

Does have potential though as the idea is cool. :D

Ravan - Alright, awesome, I'll check it out now...

Fiery, yeah, I agree that the body looks kind hokey, but I really do blame the wrapping... I mean, I think the blood mage is probably the worst model, in that respect, but I tried to do what I could. I took the Chest of the Demon Hunter and I blurred out the black lines, and changed the hue to what I thought matched his face, but I had to kind of stretch it out to fit the Blood Mage, so it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but I still think its pretty cool. I also see what you mean about the 'patchworked' things, I didn't really decide on a color theme for him when I started, but I've decided to stick the metallic stuff.

As you can see I've replaced the gold lines with the metal texture, and removed all the red cloth too, and turned his feet completely into gauntlets. I also desaturated his knee brace to make it look more metallic too.

@Ravan - I couldn't get the model to show up in the WC3 Viewer which is what I use to view my skins, but I'll put in the world editor later and see how it looks. Thanks for finding it for me!:D

Feet Update - How did I not catch how blurry they were the first time? >_<

face and legs are great but change the chest give him armor. Do something with the shoulder pads. Why is he wearing crotchless chaps? His penis is exposed and theres nothing there.

Update 4! I drew some lines around the thigh plates and knee braces to make it blend better, I think it looks tons better now.
