Many ways, one way is, if the unit already has flying movement type, then you can make it JUMP by making a new trigger, with a .02 periodic event. With a if/then/else action in it. Checking the units height evry time the trigger runs, if the height is not what you want, then just where it says ELSE actions put increase (units) current flying height +1.

The other way for non-flying units, is that same thing as above, except you will have tomake a NEW unit, just hide the one that cast the spell and make another unit with a flying height do the above. If you have more questions just ask.

There's one unit that look's like he's flying nd that a dreadlord when he jump in the air. The jump spell is easy once you get the hand of it but i've never made a jump spell or even a spell. Here's my techinque, first when the skill is activated the unit flies in the going toward's the locaton he or she is facing and land's over there or something.

here is my way...prob doesnt work in some maps cuz it uses flying...

make the unit with movement type fly with movement height 0

when the ability is acivated make unit height to 300 or 400 or w/e u want over 1 or 2 seconds then go back down to 0 over 1 or 2 seconds

have fun

Why not base spell of Blink

Make the buff/effect the same one as for the target effect of being hit by Impale.

Would that work?!?.
