Noob Forum and Advanced Forum

I think some one should change this so there is Map Development (noob) and Map Development (Advanced) and Map Development. because there are a lot of topics on here that are really easy to answer and some are really hard. so with 3 map developments some one could easly find or post a topic and get it answered with out it quickly going down so no one sees it unless they scroll down or go to the next page.

I dont think this would work (not to be pessimistic or anything), mainly because sometimes people wouldnt know where to post their thread. People would also perhaps post in the advanced section, expecting a better responce. However, its a great idea, if it would work.

but what about the ultra advanced people who consider everything noob?

Oh wait we already have that we call it that AI/Jass forum though.

The problem with that is that there isn't nearly enough activity though.

well i still think there should be at least two catagories. and people would have to respect it and if they dont they would get introuble.

Good idea. I suggest however that the thread starter should write for example "(*8)" at the end of the Subject to say that his question or his problem is 8/10 in estimated difficulty.

How would you note the question?

is it 8/10 because on your own level of difficulty u think it is a hard trigger or question? because i might say this trigger i don't know is 8/10 but a master triggerer could think it is just basic trigger and say it is 3/10.

pretty hard to evaluate a difficulty level by our own...very subjective....

Bad idea on 3 MD forums.... the 1 we have now will do just fine:gsmile:

yea its just fine as now.... split it up would mess it up.. there would be less activity in every forum.. and you would have to wait 4ever just to get an answer

or u could just splite it up and make them long in deapth questions and short easy questions. like how can i add an ability to a hero or where is this icon located. thats for short answers. a long answer could be like "can some one please explane the ?????? of some thing." or some thing like that, that would take a longer post to answer.

u could put those in sub catagories to sort them out but if u wanted u could see them all in one place. so like u would see this normal forum now where there is all the topics or u could select short answers or long anwsers and get them split up. so there isnt as much stuff in the same place.

well, we don't really need 2 forums, cuz 95% of noob questions are already answered, but they're just too lame to use the search function...
so, if u're gonna make some changes, try adding a bigger Search button :)) or something like "ASK HERE FIRST (this means you)" etc :)

yea make a big sign or something at the top or something that people will notice that says search forums before u ask a question. that will help a lot.
